Speed Camera Ticket Arizona, Help!?

I received a notice that I was flashed coming home to Tucson from Pinal county on the night of 6/25. I received the notice about a week later with a due date of 8/04, didn’t pay it. So today I receive a Arizona Traffic Ticket And Complaint/Automated Traffic Enforcement with an arraignment date of 9/18/2009. Does this mean that the man has won or do I still have a fighting chance?

I was never served and both notices came in the mail. Some sound advice would be great.

Also if you are going to say “just pay the ticket like everyone else” save it. I want solid advice on whether this notice is just as much BS as the other

As far as I know, in the state of Arizona you are not legally required to pay a traffic ticket unless you were handed the ticket in person from an officer. A friend of mine threw away 7 of them last year, and 3 weeks ago I was with her when she was pulled over. The officer did not give her a ticket, and her did not mention any unpaid traffice tickets. He ran her license to make sure it was not suspended. Everything came back clear, and he let her go. Look into Susan Kayler’s book. Here is a link http://www.susankayler.com/

Arizona law requires that all complaints, including traffic tickets, be personally served. Your courts have no power to assess fines or sanctions unless the complaint was served or service was waived. In other words, a ticket is just like a lawsuit. It has to be served the same as if it were a personal injury suit, breach of contract suit, or any other lawsuit.
